Haha thanks. The decision is mine isn’t it, not yours? Sorry I decided to focus on my education more than a sport I have decided not to pursue in college. Thanks for your crappy opinion now get off my blog ✌️

About the work ethic, I came back from having surgery on my hip that continued to give me problems for a year and won my first feis back. I placed my 3rd time in OC. And I recalled at oireachtas after falling on stage and breaking my foot. PLEASE tell me about MY work ethic.

I don’t know anything about you or your dance career to date, but I’d also like to acknowledge you for stepping away from dance to pursue academics and other things. It’s not like you can never come back to dance; it will always be there if you want it. Some people like juggling lots of different interests and activities in college while others don’t. With Irish dancing becoming so competitive and all-consuming, it’s easy to lose sight of life outside of Irish dance. Most people will never have careers in Irish dance, despite putting 20+ years into competitions and classes and it’s always important to not put all your eggs in one basket. So good for you and good luck in college!

^^^^preach!!! Just another opinion in support of whatever you decide to do… but I competed through my first year of college, and am afraid that I really lost a lot of good experiences and personal growth in that first year because I was so distracted and determined to dance. Do what is right for you! It is so hard to know going in, but balance is so essential, and your academic and personal goals are SO VALID and SO IMPORTANT. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise 😊

haha yeah pretty much EVERYTHING about going to hans was “tumultuous…” that’s a very good way to put it.

unfortunately, i didn’t recall. i danced second in the hornpipe round, and i knew from the moment they called back our group (not making excuses, just stating the fact) that i wasn’t warmed up enough. i didn’t dance my best, and i wasn’t very happy about it. but i did get some good scores! and some action shots that i was very happy with!

but besides the dancing, montreal was so much fun. i had a great time exploring with my mom and getting drinks with my TC in old montreal haha

i am much more pleased about the pictures that came out of this dance than i am about how the actual dance went

Out, out, damn spot

In addition to the international fireworks competition, the world’s largest jazz festival, a circus in the streets happening, and who knows what else, this weekend Montreal was host to the North American Irish Dance Championships.

We might have liked to see one of their recitals, that sort of thing is very cool. However, all we actually saw was a bunch of preteen girls with too much makeup, big hair, sequins and incredibly brown legs. Really… even before we had any idea there was an Irish Dance competition in town, we had remarked on girls with overly brown legs.

When we checked out of the hotel, everything made sense.

😂😂😂 irish dancers from an outsiders point of view 😂😂😂

HAHAHAA

Dead

I mean pretty much on point

BAHAHAHA poor innocent tourists had no idea what they were in for 😂
